MikeMajors is a Harlem native born into a single-parent, matriarchal family. Drawing from this up-
bringing, his work aims to explore the many expressions of Blackness while opening a dialogue around
identity, particularly his interpretation of the masculine within the feminine and the feminine within
the masculine.
